Seniors Yoga Classes
Martine Fox, Certified Yoga Instructor
Martine Fox took her first yoga class seven years ago with a bit of skepticism, wondering if she wouldreally get a “good workout”. She hasn’t looked back since! On the physical level, she noticed improvements in her balance, strength ,stamina and posture. She marvelled at the effects of her practice on her mind noticing how calm, centered and peaceful she felt after each practice and simply had to bring this experience to others. Martine challenges her students to explore themselves with an open heart, open mind, with lovingkindess and with laughter. What she enjoys the most about teaching is watching the students grow and evolve with their practice. She teaches hatha, vinyasa, yin, kid’s yoga and prenatal yoga.
When Martine is not teaching yoga, you can find her working with children in the education sector, playing in her garden and exploring her creative side, painting or felting. She is inspired by her two children, her martial arts’ practice of Aikido “the Way of harmonious spirit”, by nature and by her day to day experiences with life.
